Description

NON-PERSONAL SERVICE: Lajes Field is seeking a contractor capable of providing Passenger Terminal Security Screening services to military personnel, dependents and civilians. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, personnel, labor and services necessary to provide Passenger Terminal Security Screening services at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal in support of the 729 AMS. This contract shall consist of a Base Year (January 1, 2007 through September 30, 2007) and four one-year option periods through 30 September 2011. The Request for Proposal will be available on or about November 29, 2006. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED. The North American Industry Classification System code is 561612. The Request for Proposal will be available by electronic transmission ONLY. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) to be eligible for award and must provide Representations and Certifications, or submit necessary information with proposals. The successful offeror agrees to perform PASSENGER TERMINAL SECURITY SCREENING SERVICES to include but not limited to: screening of passengers and passenger baggage, interior/exterior vehicle and facility surveillance as required, general observation and preventive maintenance of government furnished property.
