Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking sources to provide building debris and garbage containers to the Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge located in Sussex, NJ. There will be multiple delivery/pick up locations within the refuge. It is estimated that fifty (50) containers will be needed within a six month period after contract award. No solicitation will be issued, and multiple contract awards are anticipated. Interested firms can provide the following fee information prior to November 22, 2006; cost to deliver containers to each site, weekly rental fee per container, cost to haul each container to landfill, discount if capable of hauling multiple containers at one time, and tipping fee per ton. All building material will be tested for asbestos by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service personnel. Fee proposals must include restrictions at landfill, such as required contaminant testing, material limitations, etc. Please mail information to U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting and General Services, 300 Westgate Center Drive, Hadley, MA 01035, Attn: Christopher Murphy.
