Description
*The purpose of this modification is to add a national stock number and part number* This is a notice of intent that Warner Robins Air Logistics Center anticipates issuing a request for proposal for repair of mini traveling wave tubes, national stock number 5960011851885EW, part number 1041794-1V1 and/or national stock number 5960013910643EW,part number 1041794-1v2, which is applicable to the ALQ-184. The Contract will be for a fixed quantity of 132 each and will contain two out-year options with an incremental range of 1-265 for option I and an incremental range of 1-269 for option II. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Communications and Power Industries (CPI) MPP Division, 811 Hansen Way, Palo Alto CA 94303, Cage 99313 under authority of FAR 6.302. CPI is the only known source know that can do the major repair of this Mid/High band to satisfy this USAF requirement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement (numbered note 22).
