- THIS IS TO BE CONSIDERED A COMBINED SYNOPSIS AND SOLICITATION. PR Number(s): Item: 0001 NSN: 2840015259303OJOJ SUPPORT BEARING AIR P/N: 23071468, Description: THE FRONT BEARING SUPPORT LOOKS LIKE A UFO SAUCER WITH A HOLE IN THE MIDDLE OF IT. FUNCTION IS TO HOLD THE BEARING THAT SUPPORTS THE FRONT OF THE TURBINE ROTOR.DIMENSIONS: OUTSIDE DIAMETER OF 9.23 INCHES, INSIDE DIAMETER OF 5.0 INCHES ANS IS 1.8 INCHES WIDE. THE SUPPORT HAS 24 EQUAL SPACED HOLES IN THE OUTER PART OF THE SUPPORT. MADE FROM AMS 6272 AND THE ALTERNATE MATERIAL IS AMS 6274. FORGING SHALL CONFORM TO EIS 502 INSPECTION. Total Line Item Qty: 124.0000 EA Applicable to: T-56 Destn: FB2039,Tinker AFB,OK.,73145-9013. Delivery: 27FEB2009, 124.00 EA Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
