- Description
- This is a sources sought Request for Information (RFI) for IT services for Namecheck Systems. The U.S. Department of State has a requirement for full lifecycle software development, 24x7 operations, and maintenance of the namecheck systems. This RFI requires interested contractors to indicate their ability to fulfill the requirements that are stipulated in the attached Draft Statement of Work. Only 8(a) firms and small businesses who believe they meet this requirement are invited to submit a response in writing by Monday, November 13, 2006. Contractors must submit a Qualification/Capabilities Statement that identifies their experience in the performance of the same or similar services to the ones in the Draft Statement of Work. A minimum of 10 years of experience in major systems development efforts based upon Windows operating systems and Oracle database systems software and had developed at least one system the size and complexity of eClass which involved the development of custom name search logic. Implementation of commercial name search products does not meet this requirement. Responses should include the business size, name, telephone number, and email address of a point of contact having authority and knowledge to discuss responses with the government. Responses should be no more than three (3) pages and should be submitted electronically to Gwendolyn Mansfield, Contract Specialist, email: mansfieldg@state.gov. No phone calls will be accepted. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes ONLY, and does not commit the Government to pay any costs incurred in the submission of any information requested. Response to the RFI will not be returned. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION/REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, BUT A MARKET SURVEY TO LOCATE POTENTIAL SOURCES.
