- Description
- The Department of Navy intends to issue a Request for Proposal under Solicitation N69450-07-R-3565 for Refuse Collection and Disposal at the Marines Corps Reserve Center, Floyd Bennett Field, Brooklyn, NY. Solicitation will be posted on the Navy Electronic Solicitation Website at HTTP://ESOL.NAVFAC.NAVY.MIL//DEFAULT.CFM. The successful offeror will provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for refuse collection and disposal of 8 dumpsters 4 days each week. This is a Firm Fixed Price Contract with one base year and a provision for four option periods not to exceed a total of 60 months. Award will be made to the lowest priced responsive and responsible offeror. This acquisition will be issued as UNRESTRICTED under NAICS Code 562111. The approximate solicitation release date is 3 November 2006 with an Offer Due Date of 10 Nov 2006. Anticipated award will be made on or before 27 November 2006. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (Amendments) shall be made only on the the Electronic Solicitation website. It is the offeror?s responsibility to check the above listed address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Per the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, the DOD Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR) has been amended to require all contractors to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Failure to register in CCR may render an offeror ineligible for award of DOD contracts. Information regarding this registration may be obtained by accessing the web site www.ccr.gov or by referring to DFAR Subpart 204-73. Verification of their firm's registration in the CCR Database should be submitted with the offer.
