- SYNOPSIS N40085-06-B-6037 INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONSTRUCTION TYPE CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION MAINTENANCE FOR ASPHALT PAVING AND MINOR CONCRETE AT THE VARIOUS NAVAL FACILITIES THROUGHOUT TIDEWATER, VIRGINIA NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic is currently seeking potential sources for services at various Naval Facilities throughout Tidewater, Virginia. The scope of work includes all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, and management necessary to provide various types of construction maintenance for asphalt paving, concrete work, pavement markings, and incidental work related to Road and Bridge Standards necessary to fulfill the requirements of task orders issued by the Contracting Officer. This is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract. This procurement will be handled under Sealed Bid Procedures. The Government may use the two option years to extend the contract for a period of one to 24 months. The total duration, including the exercise / award of any options, shall not exceed 36 months. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 237310, and the size standard is $31,000,000. Offers shall be submitted to perform work for a period of one (1) year. This procurement is unrestricted. The Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be posted on the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-Sol) web site on or about November 17, 2006. The estimated date for receipt of offers is December 20, 2006. All eligible firms interested in a copy of the IFB may view and/or download the document at the following web site, http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only. Contractors are encouraged to register on the E-Sol web site prior to downloading the solicitation to ensure notification of any / all changes / additional information related to the solicitation. In accordance with the provisions of DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Lack of registration in the CCR database on the part of an offeror will make an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors and contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.navy.mil.
