- This is a Sources Sought Notice. The purpose of this announcement is to identify firms that possess both the capability and experience to provide services that meet the Government's requirement. This Sources Sought Notice does not constitute a Requ est for Quote or Proposals (RFQ or RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does this issuance restrict the Government's acquisition approach. No solicitation currently exists; therefore, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. There is no assurance a solicitation will result from this notice. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized at FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov). It is the firm's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any synopsis or solicitation. The Center for Health Care Contracting, U.S. Army Medical Command is seeking firms that possess the ability to provide teleradiology services to various Department of Defense Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) for both CONUS and OCONUS. The films that c ould be read include Computed Radiography (CR or plain film ), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), mammography, ultrasound, and fluoroscopic examinations. The MTF will electronically transmit examinations to a designated point, an d the contractor will be required to receive, read, interpret and report results back to the MTF within a specified timeframe. It is unknown at this time how many of each type of examination may require interpretation and the location of the MTFs that may need these services. The radiologist(s) interpreting the examinations shall be a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy and must possess and maintain certification at all times to be compliant with the prevailing American College of Radiology standards and the FDA/Mammography Quality Standards Act requirements for interpreting mammograms. The radiologist(s) must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in a jurisdiction of the United States and be able to obtain privileges at the MTF requiring se rvices. A narrative detailing your firm's experience and capabilities (both technical and geographic), not to exceed five (5) pages, is also requested.
