- Description
- The work will consist of maintenance dredging of the Marine Corps Terminal to a 38-Foot required depth with a 2-Foot allowable overdepth. The quantity of material to be dredged will be approximately 310,000 cubic yards. All dredged material will be placed in the Dayson upland disposal area located across the St. Johns River Back Channel from the Marine Corps Terminal. Maximum pumping distance will be approximately 2.8 miles. Construction of two new weir structures in the disposal area will also be required and will be the first order of work. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. The solicitation will be issued on or after 15 November 2006 with bids due on or after 15 December 2006. THIS IS SET-AS IDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. ALL RESPONSIBLE BIDDERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS) website at https://www.fedteds.gov.
