- Sources Sought Notice: The 412 TW/AFFTC, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking potential sources capable of providing software maintenance & upgrades for the Tech Library?s SIRSI systems, which includes STILAS 1 & STILA 2 for FY07 equal to the items listed to meet the form, fit, and function of existing systems. REQUIREMENTS: Contractor shall provide software update support for the period of 1 Oct 06 ? 30 Sep 07. This support will be for the software products listed below. The contractor shall include as deliverable items all software upgrades for their software products, complete with applicable documentation, provided for commercial customers who subscribe for software update support including telephone support to resolve current revision level. Item Description: 1. Software Maintenance: a: Model # III (STILAS1) & b. Model # II (STILAS2) Contractor shall provide phone support for software maintenance between the hours of 0730-1630, Monday-Friday. All software problems must be resolved in a 24-hour turnaround period; phone support covers updates to the software as needed; and statement that software is Y2K compliant. FOB: Destination Edwards AFB CA 93524. Please note that this synopsis is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for competitive bids/proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the software & system maintenance, listed above. Firms responding to this notice must identify their company?s capabilities to perform the requirements described herein, reference the number and indicate whether or not that they are a small business concern as defined in FAR 52.219-1. The NAICS code is 511210. The Small Business size standard is $23M. The information received as a result of this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this sources sought synopsis, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this sources sought synopsis. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded in Dec 2006.
