The original date that the Announcement for Solicitation number DTFASO-06-R-00041 was posted was August 10, 2006.**** This action is set-aside for Small Business (SB) NAICS 561720. An eligible SB concern is a small business concern expressly certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) for participation in the SBA's Small Business program and in good standing with the Small Business Administration at the time of award. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Southern Region is soliciting competitive offers for Janitorial Services for the Daytona Beach Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT,UPS and Base Building), National Weather Service Facility (NWS), and Daytona Beach Airway Facilities System Support Center (AFSSC). The approximate square feet of floor space for the ATCT is 8,400, NWS is 300 and the AFSSC is 1,000. There are no planned site visits. Individual site visits may be scheduled by contacting Ms. Patricia Holyfield at 386-226-3954 during normal business hours. The award will be for a Base Contract period of January 1, 2007, through September 30, 2007, with four (4) 1-year option periods. Award will be made based on overall best value to the FAA, price and other factors considered. Issuance of the Solicitation is anticipated on or about September 1, 2006 and offers will be due on or about September 30, 2006.
