- Description
- Vandenberg AFB, California intends to issue a solicitation for Gym Equipment Maintenance Services. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide preventive maintenance and service for aerobic, strengh training and circuit training equipment. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. Maintenance service shall consist of, but not limited to the inspection, disassembly, adjustement, reassembly, calibration and replacement of any worn or deffective parts that may fail before the next scheduled inspection. Performance will be for one Base year (1 Oct 06 – 30 Sep 07) with four one-year option periods. The contractor will need to provide a manager or alternate to be locally available to physically meet on Vandenberg AFB during duty hours within 2 hours of notification. The NAIC code is 811490 and the size standard is $6.5 million. This requirement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration Database at www.ccr.gov prior to award. Offerors are notified that failure to register may render their firm ineligible for award. Release of the RFP will be via the Internet. It is the responsibility of each offeror to review the web page for the solicitation, notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. Interested parties may download the RFP upon its issuance from the following website: http://www.fbo.gov. The Solicitation will be issued on or about 14 Jul 06. The Government’s obligation for this request is contingent upon the availability of FY07 appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made.
