- Description
- The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation is seeking a contractor to provide consulting services to the OPSS (Operations and Policy Support Staff) Project Team to assist in implementing the new law, the Pension Protection Act of 2006, particularly in the area of developing regulations and operating policies needed to implement the law. In all circumstances he/she will provide recommendations and assistance for the Project Team's approval. Tasks would include the following: Assist OPSS in developing new policies related to the new law; assist in developing policy changes related to the new law; assist OPSS in supporting the development of regulations related to the new law; assist OPSS in developing procedures and training related to the above and participate in other areas of policy development on an as-need basis, as resources require. This order will provide for support in the amount of approximately 1000 hours. The Period of Performance is from date of award to September 30, 2007.
