MCCES (HDX-Equipment Training) Solicitation Number: M67399-06-Q-0035 Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO EDO Corporation to provide the following items CLINs 0001UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302. This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract to RedCom Laboratories Inc.,1 Redcom Ctr, Victor, NY 14564 in the amount of $62,150.00 for the acquisition of Training on RedCom?s HDX equipment for the Marine Corps Communication Electronics School (MCCES). The HDX-equipment training requested is the same HDX equipment that is with MCCES. Training also includes the contractor performing task at 29 Palms facilities. Any telecommunications equipment must go through the Joint Interoperability Test Certification (JITC) as directed by Congress and Headquarters Marine Corps. Interested persons may identify their interest and a capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the supplies or services sought including pricing data and technical sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror?s ability to meet all requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The government will consider all Expressions of Interest (EOIs) received prior to 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis before 1200PM PST on that date. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. FED EX/HAND-CARRIED/FACSIMILE Expressions of Interest are due by COB- 1200PM (12:00PM) PST at Address: The Purchasing and Contracting Branch, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC)/Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MCAGTFTC), Bldg 1102, Door 22, Twentynine Palms, CA 92278, ATTN; Contracting Specialist Sgt Christopher Lynch. All facsimile (transmission) pages must be clear in understanding; all pages of facsimile (transmission) must arrive and reach the office by the deadline specified, and any pages of facsimile (transmission) received after the specified deadline will not be considered. The submitter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmission and should confirm by telephone that any and all facsimile was received. This purchase will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii)(A). The anticipated awarded date is November 17, 2006.
