- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N65236-07-R- 0024 is issued as a request for proposal. The incorporated document, provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-13 and DFARS Change Notice 20061026. This procurement will be awarded through a competitive process. The applicable North American Industry Classification System code is 541519 and the small business size standard is 23 million dollars. SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston has a requirement to procure Active Card Middleware Software Maintenance Support beginning the date of contract award through December 31, 2007. This is a commercial item requirement to purchase a quantity of 415,300 Advanced Maintenance for ActivIdentity Gold for CAC 2.2 (Part Number GACG22CLAM ) and quantity of 6,000 Standard Maintenance for ActivIdentity Gold for MAC/Linux/Solaris (Part Number ACU20XSLM4). A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. The Government will award in accordance with FAR part 13 on a lowest price technically acceptable basis. The offeror shall provide backup information verifying the price offered; e.g. a copy of current catalog, invoices for the same equipment, etc. The clause at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors ??? Commercial Items (Sep 2006) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 Evaluation ???
