- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce On Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative website to use when FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). The purpose of this notice is to inform interested parties that the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to modify Contract N00024-02-C-6322, on a sole source basis, with Computer Products Incorporated, 3168 Spring Street, Fairfax, VA, 22031 in support of the Computer Optimized Reconciliation Application (COBRA). This modification will consist of a license to allow United States Joint Command (USJC), to procure services under the existing contract. Computer Products, Inc. is the designer, developer and licenser of COBRA and is the only firm that currently possesses the requisite knowledge and experience to provide the needed effort within the Navy?s required timeframe. No other source has the technical qualifications to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy?s requirements. The estimated period of performance is November 2006 to December 2006. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
