- 700th Contracting Squadron at Ramstein AB, Germany is planning to procure non-personal services for maintenance, repair, and inspection of carlifts for the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC). The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to perform safety inspections, preventive maintenance and repair to carlifts at KMC locations that include Ramstein Air Base (AB), Sembach AB, Kapuan, and Vogelweh, Germany, in a manner that will ensure continuous operation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811310 and Standard Industry Classification (SIC) Code is 7699. This is an unrestricted procurement. The Government intends to award a fixed-price requirements type contract with a reimbursement line item for parts. The Government intends to have a base performance period from 1 January 2007 through 30 September 2007, and four (4) option year periods. This action will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) on the Electronic Posting System (EPS, www.fbo.gov) on or about 10 November 2006. Interested parties should review these documents and provide any comments via email to this office. Questions related to this project must be submitted in writing. The government plans to use the Internet and email as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies of solicitation will not be available.
