- Please quote best price and availability to provide the following: 4 each (2 pairs) of high temperature superconducting power leads as per attached specification, #5500-ES-371036 Rev A, Dated 8/28/06 Note: Specification clearly outlines the respective duties of FNAL and vendor. Subsequent FNAL drawings will become sole property of FNAL excluding the proprietary items of vendor. Unilateral Option: A separate quotation is requested for the following quantities which may be exercised at the sole discretion of FNAL. 100 -120 each (50-60 pairs) same as above Delivery Schedule 4 ea (2 pairs) Prototypes March-April 2007 Testing at FNAL April 2007 20 ea (10 pairs) Production July 15, 2007 20 ea (10 pairs) Production October 31, 2007 60-80 ea (30-40 pairs) Production July 2008 Evaluation Criteria 1. Fermilab reserves the right to accept the offer that provides the ?best value? to the Lab. This may not be the lowest priced proposal. 2. Pricing for the production quantities are to be firm through the production schedule. (Escalation clauses based on clearly designated indices will be considered.) 3. Pricing must be FOB destination for offers from domestic firms, DPP for offers from foreign firms. 4. Only offers from firms that can demonstrate a proven track record in the field of HTS power leads will be considered.
