Description

Amendment number two (2) is issued to extend the closing date to November 13, 2006 (2:00 pm). The Morale Welfare Recreation Fund (IWMRF), a Non-Appropriated Fund Instrumentality (NAFI) under DLA Enterprise Services at the Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia (DSCR) is seeking a contractor to construct an Outdoor Swimming Pool to replace the existing, failing, 46 year old swimming pool with a new 25-yard length pool. The new swimming pool (interior pool dimensions) measures approximately 69 feet wide by 82 feet in length with an approximate 6 feet 0 inches concrete apron surrounding the pool. The water features will include a nine (9) lane, 25-yard lap pool, and a one meter diving board. The pool water capacity is estimated at 275,000 gallons. The interior dimensions of the Wading Pool measure 20 feet width by 40 feet length with a water capacity of 9,000 gallons. This project also requires the demolition of existing outdoor swimming pool. The magnitude of this requirement is between $500,000.00 to $750,000.00.
