- Description
- Fifteen days after publication of this notice, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) intends to issue a purchase order for non-personal services from Brigadier General Dale C. Waters, USAF (Retired) as a limited term business consultant to support the DARPA Chief of Staff; Director, Office of Information Exploitation (IXO); Director, Office of Strategic Technology (STO); and Director, Tactical Technology Office (TTO). Mr. Waters possesses 30 years of experience in military operations. This experience includes past command of Air Force units, joint service units, and defense organizations including the largest combat wing in the world during major combat in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Brigadier General Waters also served as the Military Executive and Director of Military Support for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), providing intelligence and geospatial information to a full range of U.S. national security and defense requirements including fielded combat forces. His past professional work with many key service leaders based on combat leadership and through direct contact in his role as NGA's senior military representative render him uniquely qualified to perform the required services. This notice is not a solicitation of any kind, nor is it a request for proposals.
