- Questions: What is the specific make and model of the equipment the blades are used in? These blades will be used in the I-8 and I-10 Intaglio Print Presses, manufactured by KBA-Giori. What is the specific application of the blade? This balde is used on the I-8 and I-10 Intaglio Print Press. FINAL DRY WIPER BLADE: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) hereby request quotations for the following: Blade wiper final dry spring steel blue tempered, .050 inches thick x 2 inches wide x 32.750 + .000, -030 inch long radius edges free of burrs and nicks, to be packaged in bands of 100 each. Quantity of 6000 each. This notice is a solicitation for commercial supplies in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE AND THE INSTRUCTIONS HEREIN. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; therefore a written request will not be issued. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 333291 and the associated business size standard is 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-07-0040. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Loading Dock, D Street between 13th and 14th Street S.W. In order to compete, interested parties must submit a quote by 12:00 pm EST on October 30, 2006 via fax at (202)874-3135 or e-mail at merwin.charles@bep.treas.gov. Quotations may be submitted on a 1449 or company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, proposed unit price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number and size status.
