Description

The Naval Air System Command intends to award a delivery order to the AAR-47 (V) 2 Missile Warning System BOA (N00019-06-G-0014) with Alliant TechSystems, Inc., Integrated Systems Division, Clearwater, Florida on a sole source basis for the following effort: To satisfy a (Phase 2) requirement for on-site work to perform a data collection effort collecting threat missile signatures using an advanced high speed multi-color radiometer instrument suite. This requirement is to include travel, labor, and materials to gather and analyze the data, integrate the data with the clutter data, and determine the feasibility of the approach for improved performance in Clutter. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Alliant TechSystems in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 because Alliant TechSystems is the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the AAR-47(V) 2 design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
