Description

Design/Build of a 197,169 SF Armed Forces Reserve Center, 30,693 SF Vehicle Maintenance Shop, and 9,427 SF Organizational Unit Storage at Camp Bullis, TX. The buildings will be permanent construction with reinforced concrete foundations, concrete fl oor slabs, mechanical systems including air conditioning and electrical systems. Supporting facilities include site preparation, paving, fencing, and extension of utilities to serve the project. Furniture will be purchased by other contract. An option for Military Equipment Parking concrete paving is also included. This solicitation is a Design/Build Best Value (Tradeoff) solicitation process. The evaluation factors for this solicitation are as follows and are listed in relative order of importance: Exp erience, Past Performance, Technical Proposal Information, Management, Subcontracting Narrative (NOTE: All firms must assure that no less than 25% of the total value of the acquisition is performed by US Small Businesses as first tier subcontractors), Pri ce and Pro Forma Information. The estimated cost range is $25,000,000.00 to $100,000,000.00. The NAICS code is 236220. The contract duration is 720 days. Approximate issue date is 14 November 2006 and approximate due date is 29 December 2006 at 2:00 P M Louisville Local Time. A preproposal conference is tentatively scheduled for 5 December 2006 at 9am and will be held in the Commanders Conference Room, Building 5000, Camp Bullis, TX.
