- This proposed procurement is 100% set aside for small business. The Government intends to procure through Simplified Acquisition Methods (commercial items). The NAICS is 325188, small business size standard is 1,000 employees. The requirement is to supply approximately 50 tons of Sodium Permanganate to Dalecarlia Water Treatment Plant and approximately 50 tons to McMillan Water Treatment Plant, Washington Aqueduct Division, Washington DC. The Sodium Permanganate shall be listed by the NSF as be ing in full compliance and certified as being suitable for contact with or treatment of drinking water by an accredited certification organization in accordance with ANSI/NSF Standard 60, Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals Health Effects. The period of performance is from date of award through 30 September 2007. Approximate date of award is 1 Dec 2006. The total estimated amount of this contract is between $100,000 and $250,000. The media through which the Government chooses to issue thi s solicitation will be the internet only. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Technical Data Solution System (FedTeDS) - a one-time registration process is required for vendors/contractors.
