Description
October 30, 2006 Request for Information (RFI) - Sources Sought Notice The United States Department of Labor (DOL) is conducting market research for an upcoming procurement requirement entitled "Assistance with Improper Payments Measurement, Testing, and Reporting for FY 2007 Reporting Requirements" for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. This Request for Information (RFI), Number DOL079RI20284, requires interested contractors to indicate their ability to fulfill the requirements that are stipulated in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). All interested parties who believe they meet this requirement are invited to submit in writing, within ten (10) days of the publication of this sources sought notice. Contractors interested in performing this project must submit a Detail Statement of Qualifications and Capabilities Statement which identifies the vendor's experience and ability in the field of work described in the attached SOW. The Statement of Qualifications must be transmitted under a cover letter specified for 120 days. The Cover Letter must cite the following information at a minimum: 1.) Response to RFI Number DOL079RI20284; 2.) Contractor Name, Address, and phone number; 3.) Point of Contact Person Information: E-mail address, Phone, and Fax Number; 4.) Contractor DUNS Number; 5.) Tax Identification Number; 6.) Indicate your small business size standard/classification, NAICS Codes, and provide representation and certification as a small business; 7.) Large business or other organization. Explain, please and be specific; 8.) General Services Administration schedule contract number and expiration date of the contract; 9.) Past Performance History: Three (3) client reference over the past 3 years for same or similar type work; point of contact for information pertaining to past performance name, e-mail address, phone, fax, and cell number, including contract/BPA Agreement/task order number. This is not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal, but a survey to locate potential sources. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION/REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. All interested parties who believe they meet these requirements are invited to submit a response in writing, postmarked no later than the 9th calendar day after the date of the publication of this notice that provides information describing their ability to provide these services. Contractors interested in performing this project must submit a Statement of Qualification/Capabilities Statement that identifies their experience in the performance of services the same as or similar to the ones to be performed. The statement of qualifications must be provided in triplicate, and transmitted under a cover letter. The cover letter must cite the number of this notice and it must state whether the respondent is a large, small or 8(a) business concern. Respondents that are small business concerns must also state whether they are small disadvantaged business and/or small woman-owned businesses. All submissions responsive to this listing must be mailed to the address listed above and be postmarked no later than the 9th calendar day after the date of this posting to be considered. All other submissions will be considered to be non-responsive. The government reserves the right to hold a competition for any acquisition resulting from this RFI among small businesses or to make award to an 8(a) firm, based on the responses received. This sources sought notice is for planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to pay for the information requested, issue a solicitation/RFP, or award a contract. No technical or solicitation documents exist at this time.
