- The Architect of the Capitol is seeking a contractor to furnish and install new countertops and sinks in various offices in the Hart Senate Office Building under a firm, fixed-price contract. The Government will be responsible for: a) Removing the old countertop and painting the walls afterwards, b) Plumbing in the new sink fixtures, and c) Demo and replacement of floor tile around the countertop floor mounting surfaces. The solicitation will be issued on or about November 10, 2006. The due date for receipt of proposals will be on or about December 11, 2006. The solicitation will be available electronically at http://www.aoc.gov/business/procure-opps.cfm on the date of issuance. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO DOWNLOAD THE ELECTRONIC VERSION AS THIS WILL EXPEDITE RECEIPT OF THE SOLICITATION.
