Description

The US Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) proposes to solicit Raytheon Co. for the procurement of the following items to support the Secure, Mobile, Anti-Jam, Reliable, Tactical Terminal (SMART-T) Program (AN/TSC -154, NSN: 5895-01-435-0571): (1) Fabrication and installation of up-to 325 Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) SMART-T Material Work Order (MWO) Kits with a First Article requirement (2) up-to 325 AEHF SMART-T MWO Kit two-year warranties (3) SMART-T spare parts (4) up-to 50 AEHF SMART-T's (5) SMART-T spare part repairs (6) data items and (7) support services. The AEHF SMART-T MWO Kits will be installed on basic SMART-T's to provide the terminal with AEHF capability . The modified SMART-T will retain compliance with MIL-STD-1582D (SECRET NOFORN) and MIL-STD-188-136 (SECRET NOFORN) and must be compliant with all AEHF terminal specifications including MIL-STD-3015 (SECRET NORFORN). This requirement will be executed by the placement of a five-year Firm-Fixed Price/Time and Materials Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to be awarded on or about February 28, 2007. THIS ACTION WILL BE PURSUED ON A SOLE SOURCE BASIS WITH RAYTHEON CO, NETWORK CENTRIC SYS TEMS, 1001 BOSTON POST RD., MARLBOROUGH, MA 01752 IAW THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-1 AND 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). The Government does not possess the technical data to provide to prospective offerors, however all responsible sources may submit a proposal which sh all be considered by the Agency. The US Army C-E LCMC has established the Interactive Business Opportunities Page web site to allow for the electronic transmittal of solicitations from C-E LCMC to industry. This solicitation is expected to be issued on o r about November 11, 2006 and will be posted to the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. See Numbered Note 22.
