- Description
- The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego intends to issue a solicitation for the engineering, technical, logistical and management services. The requirements are to provide In Service Engineering Agents (ISEA) and acquisition support for Naval Electronic Surveillance systems during their life cycle and to provide technical expertise to the Program Executive Offices (PEO), Commander Naval Installation Command (CNIC), Naval Intelligence Command (NAVINTCOM), other Department of Defense (DOD) agencies, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), and other Government activities as required. The estimated level of effort is approximately 261,630 hours per year. An Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract with a cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) pricing arrangement is anticipated. A single contract award is anticipated. The anticipated period of performance will be a two-year base period and six potential six-month award term periods for a maximum total of five years. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. It is currently anticipated that Solicitation N66001-07-R-0018 regarding this requirement will be released on or about 13 November 2006. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments resulting from this announcement will be available to interested parties via the SPAWAR E-Commerce Central web site at http://e- commerce.spawar.navy.mil, under Business Opportunities, SSC SAN DIEGO, "Open Solicitations." The solicitation will only be available electronically at this web site. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. It is the responsibility of interested parties to periodically monitor the SPAWAR E- Commerce page for updates and new listings. A bidders mailing list will not be established.
