Description
The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex, proposes to contract for a Service Integrator and lodging facilities (apartment units) to be utilized by Norfolk Naval Shipyard personnel under Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY) at the Pearl Harbor Submarine Base in Honolulu, Hawaii. This procurement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis (NAIC 531110) utilizing the procedures of Far Part 12, Commercial Acquisition and Far Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Products. An Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract is anticipated with services required during the period of 01 January 2007 through 31 December 2007. LODGING DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATION FOR FUNISHED APARTMENT Accommodations shall be one bedroom apartment units with bathroom, a separate living room and kitchen area (minimum of 700 sq ft). All units, as a minimum, require the furnishings shown below: KITCHEN AREA: Microwave, refrigerator/freezer, stove with self-cleaning oven and a sink. Kitchen furnishing shall include a service for four and a house ware packet (to be detailed in the written solicitation). LIVING AREA: Sofa, additional love seat or chair, coffee table, one end table, two table lamps or floor lamps, dining table with four chairs, TV stand or cabinet w/color TV (min 19 inches) with basic cable or satellite reception, DVD in proper operating condition. BEDROOM: One (1) double bed, one set of bedding, color TV (min 19 inches), a table lamp, one dresser, one mirror, one nightstand, one clock radio with alarm, a closet or adequate clothes hanging space w/12 clothes hangers. BATHROOM: Private bathrooms are required and shall be complete with a toilet, sink, bathtub/shower-combination and a working exhaust fan or exterior window. Hot water shall be available 24 hrs a day. A complete list of bathroom furnishings will be detailed in the written solicitation. Units shall have independently controlled air conditioning and heating systems which shall be in good working order, electrically safe and inspected on a regular basis. SERVICE INTEGRATOR RESPONSIBILITIES: >Schedule reservations and make cancellations/extensions >Provide Customer Service to include on-site support/assistance of customer complains 24 hrs a day, seven (7) days a week. >Monitor and track invoices A complete list of the Service Integrator responsibilities shall be detailed in the written solicitation. MAID SERVICES: Provided on a weekly basis, at a minimum, or upon each change of occupancy which ever comes first and shall include: A complete list of the required maid services shall be detailed in the written solicitation. LOCATION: Units shall be as close as possible to, but not more than fifteen (15) miles, traveling the main routes, to the front entrance of Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Pearl Harbor, HI. The Government anticipates a minimum requirement of sixty-five (65) and a maximum requirement of one hundred twenty (120) units. All lodging unit accommodations must be located in the same complex or in a multi-complexes in close proximity. Copies of the written solicitation package shall be forwarded to interested parties electronically. All parties requesting copies of the package must provide a valid E-mail address. Telephone or fax requests are not authorized and will not be accepted. Direct all inquiries and requests to: karen.england@navy.mil. All requests shall contain, at a minimum, the complete company name, point of contact w/telephone and fax number as well as an E-mail address. The date and time for receipt of offers will be provided in the written solicitation. Offerors proposing as a Broker shall submit with their proposal, a copy of the written agreement authorizing the prime/sub-contracting arrangement with the apartment facility. IMPORTANT NOTICE: DFARS 252.204-7004 ?Required Central Contractor Registration? applies. Lack of registration in this database will make an offeror/quoter ineligible for award. Information regarding CCR may be obtained at www.bpn.gov THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONDUCT A SITE-VISIT OF ANY OR ALL FACILITIES PROPOSED. DETAILS OF THE SITE VISIT, IF APPLICABLE, SHALL BE PROVIDED IN THE WRITTEN SOLICITATION.
