Description
SOLICITATION NOTICE FEDBIZOPPS VA VISN 22 Network 22 Logistics Office intends to negotiate multiple Commercial (FAR Part 12) Firm Fixed Price contracts through a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Artificial Limbs Fabrication and Repair for the Loma Linda, Greater Los Angeles, Long Beach, San Diego and Southern Nevada VA Healthcare System facilities and areas located in the Southern California counties of San Diego, Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, Venture, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, San Bernardino and Riverside, the Nevada counties of Clark, Esmeralda, Lincoln and Nye, the Arizona county of Mojave and the Utah county of St. George. The contracts are being established for the purpose of servicing the Veterans in local areas over a widespread geographical area encompassing the participating VA Healthcare Systems. The procurement specifically provides for all contractors to have full-time American Board Certified (ABC) or Board of Orthotist-Prosthetist Certification (BOC) or VA Qualified (VAQP) Prosthetist/Orthotist on staff at each of their locations in good standing. The contract period is to be a base year from award of contracts with the Government's option to renew the contracts for two (2) optional one (1) year periods. Site visits may be required by the VA. All current VISN 22 contractors are cautioned that this is a new solicitation. All current contracts expire December 31, 2006. Current contractors must submit a quote with all required documents even if their current information is on file in the contracting office. Current contractors are not guaranteed a contract any more than any other vendor submitting a quote. The current contracts will not be used to ascertain anything about this newly submitted quote for this new contract period. The quote from current contractors must have all questions answered and all documents required by the solicitation submitted. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements by submitting a quote. VISN 22 encourages all small businesses operating in the localities listed above to submit a quote. All quotes with completely submitted documents received by 4:00 PM Pacific Time, November 27, 2006, will be considered by the Government. All interested parties are encouraged to check the solicitation during the posting period in case there are any amendments that occur. All communication concerning changes and/or additions will be posted. This will be the only communications of these changes or additions. Any amendments must be acknowledged on page 4 of the solicitation document when submitted.
