- This is a public posting of a combined synopsis/solicitation for AG-82X9-S-07-0004. This is a region-wide multiple award appraisal service contract for US Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Region 2. The contract type is requirements, with various Maximum amounts, with some contract maximums as high as $300,000 total. Any awardee will be called upon on a requirements basis to perform Professional Appraisal services of a variety of sorts. The procedures in FAR 12, 13, 15, and 37 apply to the award and evaluation of the proposals. A Firm Fixed Price contract will result from the solicitation and individual task orders will be negotiated on an as needed basis. The government intends awarding off of initial proposals, but may negotiate following proposals. Period of performance includes a base plus 3 option years. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 531320. The small business size standard is $2 million. The entire solicitation will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities website with a closing date of 10 November 2007. Paper copies will not be issued. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be a small business certified by the SBA registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and be registered in CCR. All responsible small businesses may submit a responsive proposal that will be considered by the USDA, Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Region 2, Golden CO 80401. The government anticipates awarding upon initial proposals, however, based on government need, may open discussions with those contractors falling within the government determined competitive range.
