- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston, SC intends to award a sole-source contract to MBF Industries, Inc., 210 Tech Drive, Sanford, FL 32771. The contract will deliver a Crisis Response Unit (CRU) to satisfy FEMA's requirement for a secure mobile command post. MBF Industries, Inc. holds the proprietary ownership in the unique design and fabrication of custom built units to satisfy stringent specifications for FEMA'S CRU. This is for a single system built to exacting standards developed by the DOD's Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Department of Homeland Defense (DHS) and MBF Industries. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is anticipated. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAIC) Code is 336999 and the size standard is 500 employees.
