- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 ? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a requirement for two each, switch 4 way 15KV/95BIL 1-600 high voltage KYLE-15KV, 3 phase, SF6 gas insulated 304L stainless steel with 3-600A source bushing, 9-200A-tap wells, 2-3 phase VAC switches, 2-TP6 VI controls with 3 phase trip 4 way all switched and two each switch 4 way 15KV/95BIL 4 600 AMP high voltage KYLE-15KV, 3 phase, SF6 gas insulated 304L stainless steel with 12-600A source bushing, 2-3 phase VAC switches, 2-TP6 VI controls with 3 phase trip, 4 way all switched. This is a brand name or equal procurement. This buy is IAW the non-manufacturer rule as outlined in 13 CFR 121.406 and FAR 19.502-2. The suggested manufacturer NAICS code is 335313 switchgear and switchgear accessories manufacturing. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3613 switchgear and switchboard apparatus. The business size standard is 750 employees. The FSC is 5930 switches. The required delivery date is 30 days after receipt of a purchase order. The delivery location is Patrick AFB, FL. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is unrestricted.
