Description

The Food and Drug Administration intends to award a Purchase Order on a competitive basis limited to a SMALL BUSINESS. The contractor shall provide 2,500 lbs of dry ice delivered WEEKLY in the RICE PELLET FORM. The dry ice will be divided among 9 small bins and 1 large bin at the NIH campus loading area located at 8800 Rockville Pike, Building 29B, Bethesda, MD 20892. An additional 1,110 lbs of dry ICE NUGGETS must also be delivered WEEKLY to NLRC located at 5516 Nicholson Lane, Kensington, MD 20895. The following FAR clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items 52.222-35, Equal Opportunity for Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans (Dec 2001) (38 U.S.C. 4212) 52.225-3, Buy American Act Free Trade Agreements Israeli Trade Act 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer Central Contractor Registration. 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (Apr 2002) (E.O. 11246) Award will be made to the vendor who submits the lowest price that meets all specifications and requirements.
