Description

DSCC is soliciting for an Indefinite Quantity Contract for two Antennas. NSN 5985-01-342-5799, part number 5813226G2 & NSN 5985-01-335-6587, part number 5813226G3. The estimated annual quantity is 68 & 56 each respectively. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: BAE Systems (94117) & Microwave Engineering (06351). Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. A description can be found in solicitation which will be posted on the DSCC DIBBS web-site at hhttp://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. This solicitation will be issued on or about 2 NOV 2006. The contract specialist will not be able to provide copies of the solicitation. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times, at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years (per market survey). Items to be shipped to various locations within established minimum and maximum quantity limits on an as needed basis. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. Contractors are required to have access to classified data with a ?Secret? level of security clearance for document safeguarding, due to the DD Form 254 requirement, for this acquisition. This is an unrestricted acquisition. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
