Description

Transfer Availability (TA) for the USNS SALVOR (T-ARS 52). The period of performance for this requirement is to start 13 February and end 14 April 2007. The area of consideration is CONUS West Coast. Major work items include: MAJOR HABITABILITY MODIFICATIONS, WHEELHOUSE MODIFICATION ? INSTALL NEW ELECTRONIC AND NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT, MAIN ENGINE AND SSDG ENGINE MAINTENANCE, AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT RENEWALS LP AIR COMPRESSORS, AC AND REFER COMPRESSORS, OILY WATER SEPARATOR, CHT SYSTEM MAINTENANCE. This is a total small business set-aside for MSRA yards. Only written (fax, email, or regular mail) requests will be accepted. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is 5 October 2005. This solicitation will be posted and can be viewed in the Contract Section at www.msc.navy.mil. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (11-SEP-2006).
