- This notice and any future announcements will be posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fedbizopps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a cost plus fixed fee (CPFF) contract to Goodrich Corporation, 6061 Goodrich Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32226. The government has a requirement for the testing and delivery of improved inner and outer de-coupler materials specific to hull array applications. The proprietary material to be used, formulations NGD-9, NGD-35, NGD-39 and NGD-40, are patented materials of the Goodrich Corporation. These materials have undergone qualification testing for both shipboard use and/or use in Conformal Acoustic Velocity sonar (CAVES). The Government will also establish an option for engineering services to support additional analysis. The contract will be awarded for one base year with an option for one (1) additional year of engineering services as required. The schedule requires delivery within twelve (12) months after contract award. GOODRICH Corporation is the sole provider of the NGD series of formulations.
