- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N40442-07-T-5035, and it is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11. This is a small business set-aside. NAICS 337124 applies. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program is not applicable. Military Sealift Fleet Support Command (MSFSC), Virginia Beach, VA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for the following: contract line item number (CLIN) 0001: 82 each mess deck chairs with arms. Fully upholstered contour back with lumbar support. Black base. Approximate dimensions: Seat = 20-1/4w x 19-3/4d, Back = 21-1/4w x 16-1/4h, Overall Height = 33-1/2", Seat to Floor = 18-1/2". Four (4) legs. Upholstery and padding of chairs must be stain resistant, and fire resistant per US Coast Guard Navigation and Vessel Inspection Circular 9-97. Frames of chairs must be constructed of approved incombustible materials. Specific quantities per color of upholstery: Gray: 40 ea; Burgundy: 20 ea; and Navy: 22 ea. FOB Origin to San Diego, CA. Required Delivery Date: 25 Nov 06.
