Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the Replacement of Beach Access Boardwalks located at Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge, Hobe Sound, FL. Work includes but is not limited to; supplying all materials, tools, supplies, labor, transportation and equipment necessary to replace two beach access boardwalks; to include, use of pressure treated lumber, engineered decking, metal handrails and metal roofing. The NAICS code is 237990. The size standard is $31.0 million. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 10/30/06, with a 30 day closing. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 120 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is on or about 12/11/06 The IFB documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under IFB number 401816B024. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments.
