- Solicitation for the evaluation and possible standardization of Incontinence Supplies. Those companies interested in a possible Regional Incentive Agreement (discounted DAPA pricing based on volume) with TRICARE Northwest Region must respond to the following questions: Clinical Criteria: Incontinence Products: 1. Company offers full range of moderate to heavy absorbent products and are designed to wick moisture away from the patients skin. Describe the features that set your products apart from competitors. 2. Describe the comfort features associated with your products. 3. Describe how your products are easy to apply and remove. Technical Criteria: Incontinence Products: 1. List the absorptive materials (i.e. pulp, cotton etc) that comprise your companys incontinence products. 2. Describe the level of protection your products provide including the different levels of absorbency that are available and the fluid absorption and retention capacity. 3. Discuss how your product(s) absorb moisture and wick it away from the patients skin Company Criteria: 1. Does your company provide a full range of incontinence supplies to include diapers, underpads and briefs? 2. List the brands available from your company and note next to each brand whether the product is manufactured or distributed by your firm. 3. How is each category of your incontinence products packaged? (For example, Briefs are packaged 20 to a box) 4. Are your companys incontinence supplies latex free? 5. Does your company currently possess a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) with Defense Supply Center, Philadelphia? If so, please provide the DAPA number(s) for this product group. 6. Does your company have a Distribution agreement with Cardinal Healthcare? 7. Is your company large enough to satisfy product needs for the entire TRICARE Northwest Region (Washington and Alaska)? 8. Provide your companys return goods policy. 9. Does your company provide customer service support accessible via a toll-free number 24hrs/day 7 days/week? If not, what days/hours are covered 10. What types of educational tools or materials do you have for this product line? 11. Is there any history of backorders and/or recalls for this product group? If yes, please answer: a. Dates and duration b. Cause c. Resolution 12. Is your product suitable for use in a field setting? 13. Describe your companys proposed implementation plan if your company enters into an agreement with Tricare Northwest Region.
