- Description
- Aviation maintenance, overhaul. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, special tooling, test equipment and materials for maintenance, overhaul of the Dampener, Flutter, Input NSN(s): 1650-01-371-2475, Input P/N(s): 114H6800- 11, Input NSN(s): 1615-01-315-1725, Input P/N(s): 114H6800-9, Input NSN(s): 1650-01-106-9510, Input P/N(s): 114H6800-5, Output NSN/P/N: 1650-01-371-2475, 114H6800-5. The proposed contractual action will be a five-year, firm fixed price Indefinite Deliver y Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, with a minimum quantity is 75 each, maximum quantity 810 each (20% of the quantity for FMS). The technical data (DMWR) 55-1650-166 is currently available to support a competitive solicitation; however, this item is a Critical Safety Item (CSI). A LIMITED COMPETITIVE contract is required for this item. There are two approved source(s) identified to perform this overhaul and they are AAR Corp., (Cage 3Y015) and Logistical Support LLC, (Cage 1HFE7), however this DM WR includes a critical Shot Penn requirement. Current AMCOM approved sources to perform the Shot Penn requirement is Metal Improvement Co.; Santa Ana, CA 92705 and Metal Improvement Company, Windsor, CT 06095. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date state above. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. No telephone or e-mail requests will be accepted.
