Description
DESCRIPTION: This is a requirement for maintenance, overhaul and recapitalization of the subject item for the UH-60 aircraft. No surplus parts shall be used or applied. Coupling, Servo, Minimum Quantity: 280 each Maximum Quantity: 3,600 each FMS Estimated Quantity: 720 each INPUT/OUTPUT NSN: 1615-01-141-7532; INPUT/OUTPUT P/N: 70400-06100-042 The proposed contractual action will be a five year maintenance and overhaul Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with quantities as stated above. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment an d materials for the maintenance, overhaul and recapitalization. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) FAR 6.302-1. Only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy this agencys requirement. In additi on, this item has been identified as a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and as such requires overhaul from an approved source in accordance with DFAR 209, Subpart 209.2. The only approved sources for this requirement are Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06615-9129 (CAGE 78286) and Prototype Engineering, 140 E 162nd Street, Gardena, CA 90248-2802 (CAGE 0B1B6). The overhaul shall be accomplished in accordance with Government specifications, Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1 -1615-365 dated 20 June 2006 and all applicable MEOs. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for this or future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List (CASL) procedur es. These procedures are outlined at the following web site: http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/. Submit request(s) for source approval to: Commander, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-MMC-AV-S, Building 5309, Redstone Arsenal, AL 3589 8-5280. Award of this requirement will not be withheld pending source approval. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitations must be processed through their respective embassies. All responsible sources that can perform the above effort may submit an offer that shall be considered by the Agency. This requirement is currently unfunded.
