Description
Note: This requirement was previously posted under Pre-solicitation Notice/Solicitation #HSBP1005Q0390 The Office of Customs and Border Protections (CBP) requires the services of a contractor to provide uninterrupted IT equipment maintenance support to ensure continued operation and expeditious equipment repair for approximately 40,000 personal computers and similar quantities of related IT peripherals deployed world-wide. The following types of equipment will be maintained: File Servers (Dell, IBM); Personal Computers (Dell, IBM, MTX); Controllers (IBM); Terminals (IBM); Display/Monitors (Various CRT and LCD); Video Equipment; Printers (Genicom, HP, IBM, NCR, Okidata, Lexmark, QMS, DataCard); Modems (AT&T, Codex, General Datacom, IiDS); Scanstar (Computer Identics); Passport readers (Rochford Thompson); Fingerprint scanners (Crossmatch, Identix); Flexible Camera Stands; RFID Antennas (Transcore); Handheld RFID readers (Intermec); Uninterruptible Power Supplies; Switches and Routers (Cisco); SDLC Cards (Qllc); Tape Backup Units. The contractor will provide Critical maintenance, standard maintenance, preventive maintenance, OEM Depot repair, OEM service contracts, spare parts, software support, customer relations management, and program management. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials (including manuals and schematics), parts, equipment, inventory support, shipping capabilities and transportation necessary to maintain CBP hardware, to include staffing the Technical Support Center call desk located at the National Data Center, Springfield, Virginia. The services are required on a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week basis. The period of performance for this contract will be for one (1) year base with two (2) year option periods. This is a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811212 and the corresponding small business size standard is $21M. The Request for Proposal (RFP) IT Equipment Maintenance Services will be issued on or about November 20, 2006. For planning purposes proposals will be due 30 days after the release of the solicitation.
