- The Small Business Set Aside Request for Proposal (RFP) for outreach, admissions and career transition services for youth in the State of Nebraska will be available approximately Monday, November 6, 2006 on the World Wide Web at http://www.FedBizOpps.gov/. Job Corps is a program that targets disadvantaged and at-risk youth ages 16 through 24, and emphasizes long-term employability by providing educational and occupational skills training along with support services, in a residential setting. RFP DOLJ08RA00015 is to provide outreach and admissions for 440 arrivals from the State of Nebraska and career transition services for 375 Job Corps youth returning to the State of Nebraska. The resultant contract will cover the period October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2009, plus three Government unilateral option years. A Pre-Proposal conference will be held at 230 S. Dearborn, John J. Kluczynski Federal building, Office of Job Corps, 6th floor, Room 676, on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. local time. We recommend that you download the RFP from our website prior to the conference and bring the RFP with you to the conference. All questions prior to the pre-proposal conference should be submitted in writing. Proposals in response to this RFP will be due no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon), local time, on Monday, January 8, 2007, at the following address. U. S.
