- Description
- The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) is seeking the services of a video production company to create an informational DVD about the federal pension insurance program. The intended audience includes Americans who receive their pension benefits from the PBGC, as well as lawmakers, corporate pension sponsors and other stakeholders. The delivered product will contain two components: a high-quality video introduction to the PBGC and its mission of protecting pension benefits; and an interactive DVD that answers the most frequently asked questions of individuals whose failed pension plans have been assumed by the PBGC. The contract will be for an estimated period of three months starting on or before September 30, 2006. Proposal submissions are due to the PBGC approximately four weeks after issuance of a request for proposal. Telephone requests for this solicitation will NOT be honored. The solicitation document (RFP No. PBGC01-RP-06-0019) will be distributed through the Fedbizopps.gov website. The site contains downloading instructions. All information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through the Fedbizopps.gov website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to assure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. The estimated issue date of this solicitation is within the week of August 7, 2006. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (20-JUL-2006).
