- The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of the United States House of Representatives (House) is seeking competitive offers that will allow for the purchase of equipment and subsequent installation into the Committee on Agriculture Hearing Room, room 1300 Longworth House Office Building. The procurement will provide a state of the art system to allow Committee Members, witnesses, audience, staff and press to clearly and effortlessly hear all Committee proceedings by amplifying speech, and via the playback of other pre-recorded and live source materials. This RFP and any amendments, if any, are available electronically through the following website http://www.house.gov/cao-opp/currentsol.htm Questions relating to this RFP shall be submitted in writing to Toinetta Bridgeforth by e-mail to toinetta.bridgeforth@mail.house.gov or facsimile to (202) 226-2214 by 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on October 17, 2006. Written responses to all questions will be provided in the form of an amendment to this solicitation. The deadline for receipt of proposals is November 10, 2006. No verbal requests for the solicitation package will be honored.
