- U. S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR OFFICE SPACE OVERLAND PARK, KS The General Services Administration (GSA) seeks expression of interest from owners and authorized agents of existing commercial office and related space. The Government presently occupies 13,716 ANSI/BOMA occupiable square feet.. The office shall be first class office space and be located in a new or modern office building that projects a professional and aesthetically pleasing appearance. Retail or flex space is not acceptable. The Government will consider relocation if economically advantageous. The Government will consider agency mission requirements, the cost of moving, alterations, etc. when deciding whether it should relocate. AMOUNT: Approximately 15,773 rentable square feet of office space that yields 13,716 ANSI/BOMA occupiable square feet for use by the agency for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. LOCATION: Offered space must be in the following delineated area: That area of Overland Park, KS as bounded by 79th Street on the North; State Line Road on the East; 119th Street on the South; and Lackman Road on the West. REQUIRED: Tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The space offered must conform to GSA requirements for fire and life safety and handicap accessibility. Amenities of retail shops, banks, and restaurants shall be available within walking distance of 3 blocks or less from the building. The building shall be served by a regularly scheduled public transportation service and have public parking within 3 blocks. TERM: The lease will be for a term of 5 years with three (3) years firm with the Government having the right to terminate with ninety (90) days written notice after the initial three (3) year firm term.
