- This notice changes the possible option years from 4 to 2 and extends the closing date to 11/03/06. This solicitation is for the procurement of various sizes of lumber including, but not limited to plywood, hardwood & softwood boards and a variety of wood plugs and wedges. This is an annual requirement with a possibility of 2 one year option periods. Standard delivery time of each order will be 5-10 business days, but may require urgent deliveries within 48 hours. All lumber will be delivered to Bldg 53 at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA 98314. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All certified, responsible Small businesses may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FISC. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone of FAX request will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed.
