- 95--Bar, round nickel-copper-aluminum in accordance with QQ-N-286G as modified by 688-1864J, UNS N0500, Form 2, Finish A, B, C, or G except 1-3/16 inch and smaller shall be ground or turned, annealed, cold-drawn, age hardened EXCEPT Tensile Strength: 130,000 PSI min. Yield Strength: 90,000 PSI min. (0.2% offset), Elongation: 20% min (N4D, Hardness: 24-34 RHC. Quantity: 16,000 inches of 7/8" OD, 7,000 inches of 1.3125" OD, and 3,000 inches of 2" OD. The succesful contractor shall maintain an inspection / quality assurance system in accordance with MIL-I-45208a, ISO-9001 or 9002. Chemical and physical property analysis reports are required on the bar along with ultrasonic and liquid penetrant test reports. This is strictly a pre-solicitation notice. RFP N0018907RPC03 containing all specification requirements will be posted to this website o/a 10/31/06. All responsive, responsible offers will be considered for award. This pre-solicitation notice supersedes an earlier notice that was posted under RFP N0018906RP850.
