Description: USACE, Vicksburg District, has a requirement to provide labor, materials, and equipment necessary to design, manufacture, deliver, and install an excitation system and appurtenances for the two generating units at the DeGray Powerhouse. This is a ge neral summary of the required and optional work and is not all-inclusive. The work described within these specifications shall include, but not necessarily be limited to the following: (1) Remove and dispose of the two existing excitation systems for unit s 1 and 2, including associated hardware, existing amplidynes, and cabling, (2) Remove amplidynes concrete pads, cap the conduit, and refinish the floor, (3) Furnish and install two complete digital excitation systems, and (4) Perform modifications to con trol panels, and other existing equipment necessary for the complete installation.
